Floriano Arresti Free Sheet Music

Floriano Maria Arresti (Bologna, December 15, 1667 - Bologna, 1717) was an Italian composer, harpsichordist and organist. He was born in Bologna on December 15, 1667. He studied music with his father Giulio Cesare Arresti, an organist in San Petronio. On 6 April 1684 he was aggregated to the Philharmonic Academy of Bologna. In 1689 he went to Rome, where he studied with Bernardo Pasquini. In the same year he also became organist of the collegiate church of S. Lorenzo in S. Oreste at Monte Soratte, near Rome, keeping this post until 1691. From 1703 until his death he was organist of the cathedral of S. Pietro in Bologna .
